Stay as we finish the interior. It's “rustic”ily awesome off-grid experience!

Camp ikigai Animal Sanctuary 501c3 is 72 Acre Agricultural Tourism and land conservation project. Perfectly situated within a 30-minute drive to the Sequoia Kings Canyon National Parks and 90 Minutes to Yosemite. Also within 30-minute drive are lakes and rivers for year round fishing and swimming. Winter Skiing at China Peak is 90 Minutes Away!

Our rustic and primitive off grid tiny cabins are from Mine Hill Tiny Homes that is also located here at the property. The tiny cabins are 120sqft (10x12ft). The Cozy has a 5x12ft covered porch. Each cabin will have a different name and theme. This listing is called "The Cozy” Tiny Cabin"

We allow for 4 guests on this listing without additional fee, however the cabin only has accommodations for 2. Please bring extra bedding, floor pad, tent or car camping for the additional guests.

Please note - Outhouse Restrooms and Showers are shared outdoor spaces.

The entire 72 acres, communal areas, 12 miles of roads and trails, gold mine and access into the 140 acres of BLM land (Bureau of Land Management - Federal Managed Public Land).

We will be as available as needed. Some guests wish little interaction, others like to hang out around the communal campfire, share a drink, meal and just chat. That’s up to you :)

We have many amazing places to explore near with a rich bold history. You can even walk to the nearby Twin Valley BBQ restaurant and sports bar or a 5 minute drive to Clingans Junction Cafe. There is 1 gas station (Valero) 5 minutes away and the Dollar General, Indian Trading Post Gas Station, Bear Mountain Pizza and Napa Auto Parts are 10 minutes away. About 15 minutes away is a terrific restaurant called Gena’s Restaurant. Say hi to Gena and Chris, they are  pretty awesome!

PLEASE NOTE - This is a dusty (summer) muddy (winter) 501c3 non profit working ranch with animals that freely roam. If you do not like mud, dust, bugs, nature, animals, primitive, rustic off-grid etc, this will not be a desirable place for you. Please do not expect snow or green grass in Sumner. Please be mindful at all times of our limited power and water resources. If you do not understand what off-grid means, please ask or search the web.
